About Stockland:

Stockland is Australia's largest community creator. We own, manage and develop a diverse $17 billion portfolio that encompasses retail town centres, logistics centres and business parks, office assets, residential communities and retirement living villages.

Our vision is to be a great Australian real estate company that makes a valuable contribution to our communities and country. This is brought to life by our 1400 employees who are guided by our values, which are of community, accountability, respect and excellence and are passionately committed to delivering our purpose – 'we believe there is a better way to live'.

The opportunity:

This graduate opportunity will sit within communications and stakeholder relations, a team of specialists responsible for government and industry relations, press and media liaison and internal communications for Stockland nationwide. The purpose of the team is two-fold – to drive internal engagement through effective communications and secondly to build and protect Stockland's brand in the external marketplace.

The team are seeking a graduate content specialist – a "digital native" which will support in producing content and helping to implement the organisations content strategy across media, internal communications, digital (web and social) and events support.

Responsibilities in this role are varied. They could include:

  • Creative content writing and story generation for Stockland's intranet – finding the most interesting and relevant opportunities to bring the stories of Stockland and its people to life
  • Measuring the success of content – discovering what drives readership and engagement with a view of always refining and improving output
  • Supporting with external media initiatives, for example internal and external communications around the completion of projects
  • Administration and events supports – this could include employee advocacy events, media events or stakeholder events
  • Support with idea and content generation for Stockland's social media channels

Owing to its broad remit, this role sets up the graduate to either become a communications generalist or a specialist in a certain area at a later point in their career.

This position is based in Sydney with the potential for infrequent travel.
