Culture at TasNetworks

7.3
7.3 rating for Culture, based on 6 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
The leadership group tries to be visible and does a good job at afterhours events. The overall culture of the company is good - the company is full of capable people who are always willing to help and assist you in your development during work hours, and there are often social events after work in which employees get a chance to relax and get to know more people from around the business that they may not get to work with on a day to day basis. There are of course a few people that are fighting the change associated with the merger, but they are becoming few and far between and the majority have seen that this change is a positive thing for all.

In the graduate program there is a lot of culture. We catch up at least once a month in office hours and regularly meet up outside of work for dinner and drinks. There is a lot of collaboration and support among the senior employees of the business which is what I like best about the business.

I find the culture a very professional one but at the same time joyful. The areas of the business I have worked seems to have a lot of teamwork and cooperation where the main objective is to get the work done safely.

The culture at my company is in transition, there are some groups with very positive culture and others less so.

Culture in my team is excellent both in and out of hours. I have heard that there are silos in other areas of the business, which is a source of frustration and is a blocker for effective completion of work.
