Tibra is a world-class diversified trading firm whose story started in 2006 when a group of young traders and developers near Sydney, Australia decided they could challenge and beat some of the world’s most successful trading firms at their own game.

Our founders’ ambition to make their mark, back their skills and judgement and shape their own future has defined Tibra’s culture and success ever since.

This conviction and desire to grasp an opportunity has helped Tibra grow into a business of more than 100 people operating in the world’s most advanced financial markets from offices in Sydney and Austinmer in Australia, and the City of London.

Are you studying a maths, science, or engineering-based degree; do you have some programming experience and an interest in financial markets? If your answer is yes, then our graduate or internship programs may be just right for you!

What Graduates Say About Them
  • Challenging work and you get to directly see the results of your work.
  • High-performance trading firm with informal beach culture.
  • The organisation has a strong focus on teamwork and cooperation including after hours.
  • Free meals (breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner if you need to stay late), yoga, PT sessions, and massages one day a week. Also there is a pool table and beach across the road to use during breaks.
  • Management style is hands off however supportive, it leaves a lot of room for autonomy and ones own ideas alongside assigned work.
  • The company is very involved with it's charitable foundation, and many employees are engaged too.
  • High performance environment can sometimes be challenging and stressful.
  • Although overall the structure is very flat and everyone really treats you as a person rather than as a number, the aggressive attitude towards success can at times be a bit uncalibrated.
  • I work 50-60 hours, but the company is flexible.
  • Moderate formal training, the employee will have to learn by reading outside of work hours (although this isn't explicitly stated, I would say that it's pretty much mandatory). This is being incrementally improved however through an in house scheme.
  • The working environment can be stressful due to the fast paced nature of trading.
