Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV)

About Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV)

Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) is a dedicated government body charged with planning and delivering major road projects for Victoria. We are part of the Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA) which was established to oversee major transport infrastructure projects in Victoria.

We oversee the delivery of major road projects around metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. Our projects include new roads, road widenings, new bridges and major freeway upgrades – including the Monash Freeway and M80. VicRoads continues to deliver key community projects and operate the road network.

With these projects, we’ll reduce congestion and travel times, improve safety, connect communities and improve the roads you rely on every day.
