As a William Buck Vacationer, you will experience first-hand how all your hard work at university translates into a career path. Our program gives you a taste of life after uni and what you can expect as a professional within the accounting and advisory industry.

We are recruiting independent and inspired students to join our team for five weeks. We want our Vacationers to get involved, learn as much as possible and leave our program excited about the future.

Business Advisory

Our Business Advisory Accountants specialize in providing a wide range of compliance and advisory services. BA includes strategic business advice, financial statements, tax returns, budgeting and cash flow forecasting and tax planning.

Audit & Assurance

Our Auditors conduct internal and external audits for our clients. Audit includes risk management, financial reporting, IT assurance and independence services.

Tax Services

Our Tax Specialists are the go-to division for all complex tax queries. Tax Services includes corporate and international tax, ATO audits, transactional and remuneration tax.

What do I need to be successful?

  • A university student in their penultimate year with a major in Accounting.
  • Eager to learn as much as possible and annoy our managers with endless questions.
  • Genuinely interested in a career within accounting and advisory.
  • A positive outlook and a willingness to make the most out of each day.

What happens next?

  1. Apply: We will assess your application and eligibility.
  2. Video Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be sent a link to complete a recorded video interview.
  3. Psychometric Testing: The next stage will require the completion of an online assessment.
  4. Interview: You will be invited to interview with a Director and Manager.
  5. Offer: You become part of the William Buck team!
