How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.

Extremely accessible, there are no teams that I know of in our office where you aren't getting daily contact with your line manager. There is great access to senior management as well, I am totally comfortable walking into the marketing directors' office without an appointment if I need to speak to him about something.

It can vary but for the most part our managers are great, they provide development opportunities and make sure we are working towards achieving our goals. The hierarchy is quite flat, so even senior leadership team members are easy to talk to and approach. We have a formal recognition platform with a number of categories that people can submit entries to, to recognise high performance and going above your day job. Every year there is a winner in each category and your prize is a trip to any other Diageo market in the world! In terms of mentors, it is up to the individual to seek out a mentor and build those types of relationships, but people are very receptive to being mentors so it is not difficult to do.
