I meet for 10 minutes with my team to understand what tasks need doing and if we are facing any blockers

In general, a typical work week has a mix of working from home, onsite work and going into the office. Hopefully as the climate evolves – we will be able to spend much more time in the office collaborating face to face as a team.

This role provides me with a high-level view of ongoing projects and new initiatives in the department which I find fascinating.

In general, I love the continuous learning curve as there is always something that can be done better when it comes to Geotechnical Engineering.

As a grad, I have different responsibilities from setting up meetings to writing reports or doing some data analysis.

I think the coolest part of my job is seeing a feature I have created on the screen that is working exactly how it should and knowing that it is being used by other people in VicRoads.
