Disability Support at Reserve Bank of Australia

At the RBA, we are committed to building a more diverse and inclusive culture where all employees are treated with respect throughout their careers.

The Bank’s Accessibility Employee Resource Group aims to enable talent with a focus on ability by providing a workplace that is inclusive of all people. 

The Accessibility ERG focuses on:

  • Empowering people's abilities and rethinking accessibility within our workplace as well as for the public. 
  • Developing and maintaining inclusive systems, facilities and information for the general public that deals with or affected by the Bank.
  • In 2019 the Bank launched its first Accessibility Action Plan (AAP).
  • The Plan includes actions and deliverable over a two-year period 2019-2021 that outlines the Bank's commitment and path towards accessible workplace environment for all employees to reach our aspiration of becoming a disability employer of choice.
  • A review was conducted in late 2021 to assist with the development of the next Accessibility Action Plan for the period of 2022-2024.

The Bank is a member of Australian Network on Disability.
